Held every December at Grosvenor House in London, the Autosport Awards are the pinnacle of motorsport awards, and the perfect way to cap off the racing season. The awards display the great and good from that year of motorsport, and are awarded to drivers, cars, teams and team members from both 2 and 4 wheeled disciplines. Amongst the winners are world champions from the world of F1, MotoGP, WRC as well as series closer to home such as British F3 and the BTCC.

In addition to the main awards, positioned as the main centrepiece of each table is a limited-edition model car, commissioned especially for the event. The first model was commissioned in 1994 to commemorate the death of Ayrton Senna, and there has been a model produced every year since. Each model is sold at the end of the evening, with all proceeds going to charity. Tetrosyl proudly display all the awards at the head office in Rochdale.

Tetrosyl’s oil brand Carlube was a proud sponsor of the 2017 event, with a Carlube liveried Ginetta on display at the awards alongside Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes Formula 1 car and Sebastian Ogier’s Ford WRC car. Carlube is the largest oil blender in the UK, and has a long connection with motorsport as long-term lubricant supplier of Ginetta road and race cars.
